For over twenty years, my life has been woven into the textiles of Bengal learning from weavers, tailors, and women who understand exactly how a saree should fall and how a blouse should feel.
I learned not from books, but through years of working closely with skilled hands, where patience, precision, and respect for the craft matter deeply. For much of that journey, we worked offline, creating pieces in small numbers, finishing them by hand, and getting to know each customer personally.
Bringing Annapurna Story online was never about making more or moving faster. It was about reaching women across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and beyond who carry a love for Bengal wherever they go.
The distance may have changed, but our care has not. Every piece still begins with respect for the craft, the maker, and the woman who wears it.
